Around the house, around Inverloch, and further afield
A comprehensive list of places to eat and drink
★★★★★ "The house was cozy with a lovely private garden. It was like a home away from home. We didn’t need to bring many things along, apart from our own linen as the owner’s had left everyday essentials at the house for visitors. It is close to the beach and the town centre. We would love to return when next in the area." Dianna P.
★★★★★ "Lovely little cottage, perfect for me and my besties weekend away. The large outdoor undercover deck & garden was a fantastic addition to the house-especially as we had a koala in the tree during our stay!" Emma.
★★★★ 'Anembo Cottage is a gorgeous little house with an amazing deck and garden. The house is well equipped and very clean though the interior is quite small. Short walk to the shore walk and easy distance to walk to the shops. I can highly recommend Anembo cottage'. Evelyne A.
★★★★ 'Nestled in amongst some beautiful Australian native trees, this beach house was perfect! I was impressed with the cleanliness of the house. A 5 minute stroll to the beach and 10 minutes into town. The only negative aspect was there was no fence securing the backyard. This made it a bit challenging for a 2 year old and a dog!' Anonymous.
★★★★★ 'Anembo cottage is a delight, although quite small it contains everything you need. The large outside deck makes up for the small living area. The cottage has history, charm and a cosy atmosphere in spades, so different from modern soulless holiday houses. The garden is wonderful and the flat lawn is perfect for games.' Diana C.
★★★★★ 'What a great little jewel we have found in Inverloch! Many evenings spent on the back veranda absorbing the bush sights and sounds. Beautifully appointed and so close to the beautiful beaches. Thank you! On learning about the history of “Anembo”, we feel privileged to be staying in this delightful setting which was the focus of Frank’s hard work and pioneering spirit'. John.
★★★★ Comfortable and quiet, fantastic location and well equipped lovely beach holiday house. You can feel that the place is cherished by its' owners (who very kindly dropped off a lost earring to the managing agents, who returned the earring to its' owner, my sister). No wi-fi - but, after an initial mild panic, this proved to be a bonus. Michelle R.
