Marty, Alice, Jack, Grandma and a friend of Alice’s, Bill came about lunchtime on a beautiful day. Marty immediately started mowing the grass. I took Jack for his usual adventure down to the creek, to drop sticks from the bridge and watch them emerge on the other side, then spent some time at the swings and slides at the top of our street. We all pitched in to clear out the creeper along the fence near the shed and it was taken to the tip. Rained the night of the 24th, but not too heavy. I was pleased to see that the shrubs we had recently planted were still alive. Marty and Alice planted three grevillas and three little blue shrubs. Watched some of the Anzac day march on the T.V, while waiting for the deck to dry out after the rain. ALDI seems almost ready to open its doors in Wonthaggi.
