Anembo has two small bedrooms (B1 with a double bed; B2 with a double bed and a single bed). The house sleeps five people. Blankets, doonas and pillows are supplied. Please BYO sheets, pillowcases and towels.
The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need: a stove, bar fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster, pots, pans, plates and cutlery. There is also a wok under the BBQ cover.
There is a small fridge/freezer on the deck. This is very useful for fishing bait and drinks.
The lounge is also in the kitchen area. It has a comfortable three seater couch and a four-seater table and chairs (two additional chairs are in the bedrooms). There is an additional four-seater couch on the deck, another three-seater couch, and a table and chairs that accommodates six.
There is a mid-sized, flat screen, colour digital TV/DVD BlueRay player in the lounge. There is a smaller TV in one bedroom. If you bring your own portable TV there are coaxial cable ports in each bedroom.
The bathroom is small but functional. There is a shower and handbasin and toilet. Please BYO towels.
There is an exterior shower with warm water for showering after swimming at the beach.
The house has a large (4 metre X 7 metre) rear deck looking out to a spacious natural garden. There is one outdoor bar-b-que area (see ‘FAQ’ for operating instructions).
There is a small library, a large eclectic music collection on cassette tapes (see the boxes in one of the bedrooms), a large collection of DVDs, and some board games for your use. There are some things available for outdoor entertainment: balls, bats, stumps, etc. in the basket on the deck.
An electric-operated smoke detector is in the lounge. Please check that the detector operates by pressing the “test” switch. If the red light is on a battery is needed.
The oven is electric.
The griller plates are gas. Please watch your hands and those of children.
NOTE: For your own safety, and for the comfort of others that may follow you, please PLEASE smokeoutdoors only.
Extinguish cigarette butts carefully as the bush around Inverloch is a fire hazard during summer.
Please ensure the refrigerator doors are closed.Close them slowly and firmly. Avoid wasting energy and losing good food.
IMPORTANT: If the ‘fridge on the deck is not being used, please EITHER leave it running with the door closed, OR turn it off and prop the door open to avoid mould.
The hot water service heats by gas tanks. The tanks swap over automatically when one is empty. If the gauge on the bottles is red, one tank is empty. Ask the agent to get a refill. The HWS should be switched on when you arrive. Take short showers and you will have enough water for all normal uses. Please do not waste precious water.
An air conditioner is available for hot and cold weather. To swap from hot to cold use the mode button. The AC is very quiet and it is easy to forget that it is running. Please don’t waste energy by leaving it on all the time. Please do the right thing by the environment.
